Falling in love with you came quickly ... unexpectedly one lovely (loving) evening.

I didn't know exactly what it was that I was feeling on that day (in that time and place), but I recognized that it was something I'd never experienced before. In this lifetime (you see), I thought that I was broken -- or that there was something basically wrong with me (since I just had never felt the depth of loving someone in the way I believed was possible). I was simply drifting.

Mine was a sea of loneliness until I met you.

I held onto the hope of finding she who was missing in me, and then she unexpectedly walked into my life with her enigmatic smile and gentile graces.

She is you.

You have illuminated my hopes and dreams. Your eyes sparkle and speak of forever, and have captivated my heart. And then I met a child, whose rapport with my own, gleefully awakened him to a special new playmate with whom to laugh and build sandcastles … on a glorious beach (beneath the protection and safe-haven rainbow of childhood).

Your eyes of forever bewitched my eagerness just as quickly. The man within me awakened to the incredible wonder of a special new lover with whom to share passion's flower and dreams in the exciting light of love's first kiss and enduring embrace.

Your eyes of forever enchanted my soul, and the ancient one within me awakened to discover the awesome joy of a special new best friend with whom to share the timelessness of love's promise (in the wondrous light and glow on the shores of our forever).

I was suddenly and completely brand new.

All the sad events from my past just faded away into the mist of time, and only matter now -- in the sense that they had somehow brought you (magically) into my life.
