"Blind Justice"

Justice today has gone into seclusion -- actually, it's a like being in denial (or at very least, something that resembles a poignant contradiction).

Understanding this was easy… "I once sat with a Family Law professor listening attentively (the speaker here is herself a Juris Doctor whose name will not be disclosed. -ed.), only to hear him affirm with a nod, that Family Court is all about 'money and power' -- for no one 'really' looks at a child's best interests!"

So, it's go with the flow, go with the status quo... (it's do whatever is easiest for 'expediency').

To get to the point, I'm sure you've noticed that 'they' (the honorable Court Commissioner, the Ad Litem Attorney, the Social Worker, and the opposing Attorney) would rather leave something stupid and awkward in place, rather than look at a sensible suggestions (about anything).

If there have been serious problems -- it takes so long to get into court... that the 'immature parent' can always do last-minute 'rug-jerking' -- leaving you (the other parent) on your ass.

Can you point out that 'she / he' violated a court order? Sure, but it's all after the fact, and lawyers will encourage the sensible parent to 'calm down' (... like you have to be the one to bend over, because you want things to be calm in the life of your child). So, OKAY -- you may well know that verbal poisoning is going on, but how do you prove it?

Each next cycle (in and out of court), you'll get the impression that these legal 'professionals' are 'D.W.I. at the wheel' ('driving while blind'), and no one in a position of power (to help) seems to 'really' listen. Big yawn -- 'they' just want to go home to their own lives. 'Cause hell, it's also easier to turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to what's going on in your child's life -- as long as the appearances are good (for 'them').
