    • A small Illinois river-town called Yorkville, in the heart of the "Fox Valley", was my childhood home.  My parents left the "Land of Lincoln" for Wisconsin "Dairyland" in 1966, where I grew up in the midst of  Chicago millionaires who populate the magnificent shore-line of historic, and beautiful Lake Geneva. After high-school I attended both the University of Wisconsin, at Madison and Carthage College in Kenosha. I moved from the southern lakes area of Wisconsin, to Palo Alto, California in 1974, to work in "Silicon Valley".  Barnes House at Stanford University became a base while I worked in Silicon Valley and did research at the I.C. Lab.   My employeer was "EXAR Integrated Systems", and then "PMI" an "Analog Devices" company.  I took off for a year in England at Cambridge. I spent part of that year in Swindon (Wiltshire) where I worked for the "Plessey Company" (sold to MITEL [now known as, "Zarlink"], I was their first and only "Yank"). I designed a digital Integrated Circuit for "British Telecom" at the Allen Clark Research Centre, at Caswell in Glouscestershire (using HDB3 encoding).   I've since lived 15 years in France, in this village [click on link] -- where I started a hi-tech Engineering business (and was also involved in a technology store based in the city of  "Aix-en-Provence").  I returned to the USA in early November of 1996 to work in Illinois and Wisconsin. At present, I work as the Regional & International Sales Manager for this software house, but am also involved as the founder of two more startup companies (my 4th and 5th) ...
