This was the initial array (of refurbished) "Pentium III" computers [1GHz x1 and 933 Mhz x3].
The Toshiba laptop serves as a "wireless-bridge" (via a PCMCIA WiFi card, to a 10/100Mbit PCMCIA NIC card).
The NIC (on the laptop) connects next, to the gray-colored box (which is a 4-port, auto-sensing switch).
These desktops share just ONE: keyboard; mouse; and monitor - through the 4-port CYBEX switch box.
N.B. All of this equipment was obtained at no cost, and was rebuilt from spare parts in September of 2008.

Take note of this "rats'-nest" of cables - needed, such that these five (5) computers can "talk" with each other...
