GENERAL INFORMATION (about this edition):

Most of these files were hand-sequenced (not played "live").  As such, in some cases, 
"play-back" may sound rather "rigorous" and "mechanical" (the "human" quality, for 
the listener therefore, will be variable). Some of the MIDI pieces are (alas) rather   
rudimentary (need rework) - any volunteers? All MIDI files that contain multiple tracks, 
have been "re-mapped" to play on CHANNEL 1 (for compatibility with the Disklavier). 
Some of the MIDI files are true, "live" performances. All sequenced-files have been 
altered to adjust "PAN" (so that the treble notes will play to the "right" and the 
bass notes, to the "left" (on synthesizers). Volume and velocity have been altered 
where needed -- to adjust play-back on a Disklavier (where the physical volume-control 
should be set at about 50%). By so-doing,  the user can raise or lower the playback 
volume, to suit one's tastes and the ambiance of your music-room.  

P.S. These MIDI files were "sourced" from MIDI collections all over the world.  
Thank you to all whose labors preceeded my own... as performers, as MIDI sequencers, 
webmasters, and of course -- the composer herself. 


My favorite on this volume, is "Etude Op-35 No-05 Automne" (there are 4 versions).
